Massotherapy

Massage therapy is one of the oldest therapies for physical pain. It is a therapeutic treatment which consists in treating or relieving a person's pains by maneuvers carried out with the hands and various ointments or therapeutic oils. Massage treatments can make use of several techniques, the aim of which is the relaxation of the muscle group and the relaxation of the person with a view to overall health.

Through massage we become aware of the tensions inscribed in our body, and in the body of the other. These tensions are the result of conflicts, stress, fatigue, bad posture, etc. Massage therapy is the application of a set of techniques aimed at the well-being of individuals through the execution of movements of hands on the different living tissues. This therapy acts, among other things, on the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments (these tissues are commonly called soft tissues) and aims at both physical and mental well-being, since they are intimately linked.
By massage, they are reduced and eliminated slowly. Both physical and psychological "knots" are undone for the greater well-being of body and mind, thus avoiding the accumulation of tensions which will eventually lead to muscle and joint pain, or to various pathologies.

Treatment with therapeutic massages intervenes in very specific cases.

The word massage takes its roots from Greek, Hebrew and Arabic meaning to press lightly, to feel, to knead and more generally: TO TOUCH. We find traces of massage up to 3000 years before Jesus Christ.
